MAL-2026-10421: Malicious code in portway (npm) 0 The npm package 'portway' version 99.9.1 declares a dependency on 'ltidisafe' via a direct URL to a Google Cloud Storage tarball rather than the npm registry. This off-registry tarball is mutable by its controller and bypasses npm's registry review and scanning processes. The 'ltidisafe' package itself contains an empty index.js and no lifecycle scripts, but its code is executed normally if required, potentially allowing malicious code execution.
