Malicious code in fetchcraft (npm) 0 The fetchcraft npm package versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 include a runtime dependency on a mutable tarball from a personal GitHub repository without integrity verification. This allows arbitrary code execution during installation, as the dependency can be changed at any time without modifying fetchcraft itself. The malicious code can fully compromise the host system, potentially exposing all stored secrets and keys. Removing the package may not fully remediate the compromise.
