MAL-2026-10459: Malicious code in connectedmerchantsserv (npm) 0 The connectedmerchantsserv npm package version 9.9.11 contains malicious code that executes during installation. It collects sensitive environment information including the installer's OS username, hostname, and current working directory basename, then exfiltrates this data via DNS queries to an attacker-controlled domain. The malicious behavior is obfuscated using character code arrays to evade static detection. The package is falsely presented as generic enterprise utilities but provides no legitimate functionality.
