MAL-2026-10690: Malicious code in qwen-asr-pvt (PyPI) 0 The qwen-asr-pvt package on PyPI is a malicious package that impersonates the legitimate qwen-asr project by Alibaba. It declares an unpinned dependency on a typosquatted package transformers4576, which replaces the widely used transformers library. This causes pip to install attacker-controlled code during installation or import. The package source is copied from the legitimate project but modified to import the malicious dependency, forming a dependency-confusion attack vector.
