Malicious code in darkglitch (PyPI) 0 The darkglitch package on PyPI contains malicious code that installs a listener CLI opening a WebSocket connection to a hardcoded signaling server. This listener joins a shared room where it accepts remote commands executed on the host system, enabling arbitrary command execution and file upload/download. The package is described internally as a post-exploitation and advanced command and control framework. Any party knowing the shared room identifier can control any host running the listener.
