Malicious code in mflux-streamlit (PyPI) 0 The mflux-streamlit PyPI package versions 0.0.3 and 0.0.4 were found to contain malicious code that acts as an obfuscated infostealer. This malicious code executes via the Bun runtime on Python startup and collects sensitive data such as API keys, package repository credentials, cryptocurrency assets, and password manager information. It also queries online services for additional secrets, attempts persistence, and spreads by publishing infected packages using stolen credentials. The malware may wipe user data if invalid GitHub tokens are detected. This threat is linked to the Mini Shai Hulud campaign and includes sandbox detection and destructive actions.
