Libsndfile version prior to 1.2.2-8.oe2403sp1 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the mat4_read_header() function when parsing specially crafted MATLAB v4 MAT4 files. This vulnerability can cause a denial of service by crashing the application using the library. A security update fixing this issue is available in version 1.2.2-8.oe2403sp1.
