Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in the Linux kernel packages used by Red Hat Enterprise Linux and related distributions. These issues affect various kernel subsystems including networking, Bluetooth, memory management, and the Ceph storage library. The vulnerabilities include out-of-bounds reads, use-after-free conditions, race conditions, and improper input validation, which could lead to denial of service, information disclosure, privilege escalation, or container escape. A patch is available and should be applied to affected systems. Due to an ABI change, kernel updates require recompilation and reinstallation of third-party kernel modules. No known exploits are reported in the wild at this time.
