This bug could cause denial of service by aborting transactions. The issue affects multiple Linux kernel versions prior to 6.8.0-1055.56 and similar builds. A patch is available and included in updated Linux kernel packages. The vulnerability has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 5.5 and does not impact confidentiality or integrity but affects availability. No known exploits are reported in the wild.
