A vulnerability in the Linux kernel audit subsystem was resolved where the "at" variants of getxattr() and listxattr() syscalls were missing from the audit read class. This omission allowed calls to getxattrat() or listxattrat() to bypass audit rules designed to monitor file extended attribute accesses. The issue was addressed by adding the missing syscalls to the audit read class. This fix is part of a broader Linux kernel security update that addresses multiple vulnerabilities across various subsystems and architectures.
