A Padding Oracle vulnerability exists in Apache Tomcat's EncryptInterceptor when using the default configuration. This affects multiple versions of Apache Tomcat across major branches including 7.0.x, 8.5.x, 9.0.x, 10.0.x, 10.1.x, and 11.0.x. The vulnerability allows an attacker to gain information about encrypted data through padding oracle attacks. Fixed versions have been released to address this issue.
