UBUNTU-CVE-2026-30922CVE-2026-30922 0 The pyasn1 Python library versions prior to 0.6.3 are vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack caused by uncontrolled recursion when decoding ASN.1 data with deeply nested structures. An attacker can craft payloads with thousands of nested SEQUENCE or SET tags using Indefinite Length markers, causing the decoder to recurse until the Python interpreter crashes or exhausts system memory. This vulnerability is distinct from a previous integer overflow issue and is fixed in version 0.6.3. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 03/18/2026, 04:17:00 UTC Added: 07/16/2026, 10:39:20 UTC |
