OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.CVE-2026-41079 0 OpenPrinting CUPS versions prior to 2.4.17 contain a vulnerability where a network-adjacent attacker can send a crafted SNMP response to cause an out-of-bounds read of up to 176 bytes past a stack buffer. The leaked memory is converted and exposed as printer supply description strings visible to authenticated users via IPP Get-Printer-Attributes and the CUPS web interface. This vulnerability is fixed in version 2.4.17. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 04/24/2026, 17:16:00 UTC Added: 07/21/2026, 20:03:17 UTC |
