Linux hwe edge: In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: free page on short-frame rejection in tun_xdp_one() tun_xdp_one() returns…CVE-2026-46321 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's tun driver causes a memory leak when processing short frames in the tun_xdp_one() function. Specifically, the function returns an error on frames shorter than the Ethernet header length without freeing allocated memory, leading to page-fragment leaks. A local user with access to /dev/net/tun and /dev/vhost-net can exploit this by sending crafted short frames, causing memory exhaustion and potential out-of-memory (OOM) panics.
