UBUNTU-CVE-2026-48736
0

A vulnerability in the Symfony PHP framework versions 5.4.0 to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13 allows attacker-supplied URLs to bypass private IP address checks due to omission of certain IPv6 transition prefixes. This affects the NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient and IpUtils::PRIVATE_SUBNETS components, which failed to block private IPv4 targets represented in IPv6 transition forms. The issue has been fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13. Multiple Ubuntu package versions of Symfony are affected. No known exploits in the wild have been reported.
