Linux azure: In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: v: stop OGMv2 on disabled interface When a batadv_hard_iface is…CVE-2026-52913
0

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's batman-adv module could cause a NULL pointer dereference when sending OGMv2 packets on disabled interfaces. This occurs because the code does not properly check if the mesh interface pointer is NULL before dispatching packets, leading to a potential denial of service. The issue affects multiple Ubuntu and Linux Azure kernel versions prior to 7.0.0-28.28~24.04.1 and related builds. The vulnerability has been resolved in later kernel versions.
