In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: serialize accept_q access bt_sock_poll() walks the accept queue…CVE-2026-52918
0

A critical vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth subsystem was resolved involving unsynchronized access to the accept queue in bt_sock_poll(). This flaw allowed concurrent access issues where the accept queue could be walked without proper synchronization, while a child socket teardown could unlink the same socket and drop its last reference. The vulnerability has existed since the initial Bluetooth import into the kernel. The fix involved protecting the accept queue with a dedicated lock and reworking bt_accept_dequeue() to safely manage references under the queue lock.
