Linux hwe edge: In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix clone_alias() to use the original device's devid Currently…CVE-2026-53053 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iommu/amd component was fixed by correcting the clone_alias() function to use the original device's devid. The function previously assumed the first argument was always the original device pointer, which could lead to incorrect or stale device table entries being propagated to alias devices. This issue has been resolved by ensuring the original device pointer is passed and used correctly during cloning. The vulnerability affects multiple Ubuntu Linux kernel versions prior to 7.0.0-28.28~24.04.1 and related builds.
