MapServer versions prior to 8.6.4 contain a vulnerability in the PostGIS runtime filter translation where unverified user input is treated as numeric and concatenated into SQL predicates. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass filters, enumerate unintended records, and perform boolean- or time-based SQL injection attacks, increasing database load.
