RabbitMQ versions from 4.2.0 until 4.2.9 and 4.3.3 contain a vulnerability in OAuth2 token expiry validation. The issue arises because the code only checks token expiry if the 'exp' claim is an integer, skipping expiry checks if 'exp' is a float, which is allowed by RFC 7519. This allows acceptance of expired tokens if the Identity Provider emits 'exp' as a float, causing login-time expiry checks and mid-connection disconnect timers to be bypassed. The vulnerability is fixed in versions 4.2.9 and 4.3.3. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/25/2026, 17:17:00 UTC Added: 10/17/2026, 22:24:41 UTC |
