The Linux kernel contained an insecure and unused random number generator algorithm (sun4i_ss_rng) with multiple vulnerabilities including a buffer overflow and improper cryptographic random byte generation. This code was not used by any known userspace applications and did not contribute entropy to the Linux RNG.
