0 A vulnerability in cockpit-ws allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted request to the exact configured URL-root prefix without a trailing slash when WebService.UrlRoot is set. This causes cockpit-ws to terminate unexpectedly, making the Cockpit web service unavailable. Exploitation requires a non-default UrlRoot configuration and no front-end normalization or redirection.
