Multiple security vulnerabilities were identified in the Linux kernel real-time version 6.14 affecting subsystems including packet sockets, network traffic control, VMware vSockets driver, and the XFRM subsystem. These flaws could potentially allow an attacker to compromise the system. A fixed kernel version 6.14.0-1013.13~24.04.1 has been released by Ubuntu to address these issues. Users are advised to update and reboot their systems to apply the fixes. Due to an ABI change, recompilation and reinstallation of third-party kernel modules may be necessary.
