Description

A vulnerability in SSSD's NSS responder allows a local attacker to cause an out-of-bounds read by sending a crafted GETHOSTBYADDR request with an invalid addrlen field. This leads to a process crash and denial of service. The vulnerability requires local access to the NSS responder socket and does not expose confidential data or integrity. No official patch or mitigation is currently available from Red Hat.
