The vendor advisory does not explicitly confirm the availability of a patch or fix. Until a fix is available, restrict BULK_READ permissions to trusted users only and monitor query usage to prevent submission of deeply nested predicates that could trigger the issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Ickle query parser of Infinispan allows an authenticated user with BULK_READ permission to submit a query with deeply nested predicates that causes recursive parsing to exhaust the Java thread stack, resulting in an uncaught StackOverflowError. This can lead to a denial of service by impacting availability.
