AI-suggested

Red Hat currently reports that no mitigation is available or that existing options do not meet their criteria for ease of use, applicability, or stability. Administrators should monitor Red Hat advisories for any forthcoming fixes or mitigations. Until a fix is released, avoid using custom truststores with the Keycloak Admin CLI kcadm tool or restrict network access to prevent interception.

Description

A vulnerability in the Keycloak Admin CLI (kcadm) tool allows an attacker who can intercept network traffic to impersonate the Keycloak server when a custom truststore is used. The tool incorrectly accepts any self-signed certificate if the hostname matches, enabling credential theft and unauthorized administrative actions.
