If you cannot patch yet, limiting network access to the management interface to trusted hosts may reduce exposure.
Description
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the management interface of WatchGuard Fireware OS. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker with network access to the management interface to crash the management service by sending a specially crafted login request. Exploiting this vulnerability repeatedly can terminate all active administrator sessions and ongoing management operations, potentially preventing management of the device. Importantly, traffic processing by the device is not affected.
