Description
A vulnerability in BIND 9 causes the resolver to exit unexpectedly when receiving a specific sequence of DNSSEC-signed responses involving a valid wildcard answer with signed NSEC3 proof followed by an unsigned NSEC at the same owner name. This affects multiple BIND 9 versions and can lead to denial of service due to program termination.
