AI-suggested
Upgrade Business::GoCardless to version 1.01 or later, where this issue is fixed. Ensure that webhook secrets are properly configured and never left undefined or empty. Validate webhook secret configuration to prevent empty or undefined values from being used in signature verification.
Description
Business::GoCardless versions before 1.01 for Perl accept forged webhooks if the configured webhook secret is undefined or empty. This occurs because the signature validation function does not reject empty or undefined secrets, allowing an attacker to forge webhook signatures using an empty key.
