What to do
AI-suggested
A fix for this vulnerability has been implemented in the Linux kernel. Users should update to a kernel version that includes this fix to prevent the null pointer dereference and associated system hang. No other mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A null pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver (dcn20_resource.c) was fixed. This flaw caused a kernel hang when running MPV with hardware decoding on a DCN401 discrete GPU and enabling fullscreen playback. The issue triggered a kernel oops with a null pointer dereference, leading to system instability.
