Description

CVE-2024-50208 is a medium severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA bnxt_re driver. It involves a bug in setting up Level-2 Page Buffer List (PBL) pages for non Memory Region (MR) resources when the number of pages exceeds 256K. The flaw causes invalid memory access due to incorrect assumptions about the number of Page Directory Entry (PDE) pages, potentially leading to memory corruption and denial of service.
