A fix is available in the Linux kernel as indicated by the fixed commit versions. Users should update to a kernel version that includes the fix identified by the provided commit hashes. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's gpio-keys input subsystem was fixed to address improper sleeping in atomic context when PREEMPT_RT is enabled. The gpio_keys_irq_timer() callback ran in hard IRQ context but called input_event(), which takes a spin_lock that is not allowed in that context, causing kernel bugs. The fix relaxes the high-resolution timer to avoid running in hard IRQ context.
