Description
CVE-2025-38444 is a memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RAID10 implementation. The issue occurs in the raid10_make_request function when raid10_read_request or raid10_write_request registers a new request with the REQ_NOWAIT flag set, causing allocated memory from the mempool not to be freed properly. This flaw has been fixed in Linux kernel version 5.15.189 and later.
