AI-suggested
A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source code (commits f93032e5d68f459601c701f6ab087b5feb3382e8 and others). Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these commits to remediate the issue.
Description
A bug in the Linux kernel's drm/hisilicon/hibmc driver caused a failure during driver loading. Specifically, when the hibmc driver failed to load, it attempted to free resources using hibmc_unload, but mutexes in mode.config were not initialized, leading to a NULL pointer access. The issue was fixed by changing the error handling to return early since hibnc_hw_init() does not require resource freeing.
