AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied in multiple Linux kernel commits. Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes the referenced fixes (commits f49697dfba2915a9ff36f94604eb76fa61413929 and others). No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official patch.

Description

CVE-2025-39801 addresses a Linux kernel vulnerability in the usb dwc3 driver where WARN_ON triggers on device endpoint command timeouts, causing kernel panic if panic_on_warn is enabled and unnecessary call trace logs otherwise. This occurs during fast software-controlled USB connect/disconnect sequences, particularly on Exynos platforms where control transfers from a previous connect may not complete before disconnect commands are processed. The fix removes WARN_ON to prevent kernel panics and reduce noise from expected timeout scenarios.
