Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-107755 is a vulnerability in Apache CouchDB (up to version 3.5.2) where insufficient filtering of credentials in the _replicator database permits an authenticated user to read replication credentials belonging to other users. This flaw affects all platforms running vulnerable versions. The issue is resolved in Apache CouchDB 3.5.3.

Potential Impact

An authenticated user can access replication credentials of other users, potentially exposing sensitive authentication information related to database replication. This could lead to unauthorized replication operations or credential misuse. The vulnerability does not allow unauthenticated access and requires at least low privileges.

Mitigation Recommendations
