Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-109182 describes an incorrect authorization vulnerability in jshERP through version 3.6. The flaw exists in the GET /supplier/exportExcel endpoint, which does not enforce the same role-based data scope restrictions as the /supplier/list endpoint. As a result, authenticated users limited to personal or departmental data can export comprehensive records across suppliers, customers, and members, leading to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive financial and contact information.
Potential Impact
The vulnerability allows unauthorized data exposure of sensitive business information including contacts, phone numbers, tax numbers, bank accounts, and balances. This could lead to privacy violations and potential financial or reputational damage for affected organizations. However, exploitation requires authenticated access with at least limited privileges.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the /supplier/exportExcel endpoint to only fully authorized users and monitor for suspicious export activity.
