Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-110615 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in jshERP through version 3.6. The issue exists in the POST /user/batchSetStatus endpoint, where authenticated low-privilege users can submit crafted requests with arbitrary user IDs and status values. This enables them to disable or re-enable accounts of other users in their tenant, including administrators, without proper permission checks.

Potential Impact

An attacker with low privileges can disrupt tenant user management by disabling all non-owner accounts, potentially locking out administrators and other users. This can cause denial of service for legitimate users and loss of administrative control over the tenant environment.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoint and monitor for suspicious activity related to user status changes.
