Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-109184 describes an improper authorization vulnerability in jshERP through version 3.6. Authenticated users with limited data scope (personal or department) can exploit the GET /account/findAccountInOutList endpoint by supplying arbitrary accountId values to retrieve settlement account ledger information belonging to other users within the tenant. This bypasses intended access controls and exposes sensitive financial data.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows unauthorized disclosure of sensitive financial information including bill numbers, counterparties, amounts, and remarks from other users' settlement account ledgers within the same tenant. This could lead to privacy violations and potential misuse of financial data. There is no indication of privilege escalation or remote code execution.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the affected API endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious access patterns related to accountId parameters.
