Published: 10/12/2026 (10/12/2026, 15:32:17 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: LogicalDOC
Product: LogicalDOC Community Edition

Description

LogicalDOC Community Edition through 9.3 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the zip-export servlet that allows authenticated users to export restricted folders by supplying a folderId parameter. Attackers can request /zip-export with a restricted folder ID, since ZipExport.addFolderDocuments() skips READ and DOWNLOAD permission checks, to download all of its documents in a ZIP archive.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-109202 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in LogicalDOC Community Edition through version 9.3. The vulnerability exists in the zip-export servlet where the method ZipExport.addFolderDocuments() does not enforce READ or DOWNLOAD permission checks. As a result, any authenticated user can request the /zip-export endpoint with a folderId parameter referencing a restricted folder and download all documents contained within that folder in a ZIP archive.

Potential Impact

An attacker with valid authentication credentials can bypass folder-level access controls to export and download documents from restricted folders. This leads to unauthorized data disclosure of potentially sensitive documents stored within LogicalDOC Community Edition instances up to version 9.3.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the zip-export servlet and monitor authenticated user activities involving folder exports to mitigate unauthorized data access.
