CVE-2026-110015: CWE-352 Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Salon Booking System
Description
The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.9 does not correctly verify the authenticity of REST API requests and discards WordPress core's nonce check for cookie-authenticated sessions across the whole REST API, allowing unauthenticated attackers who trick a logged-in administrator into clicking a crafted link to forge requests in that administrator's browser, up to creating a new administrator account.

Technical Analysis
The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin versions prior to 10.31.9 do not correctly validate REST API requests, bypassing WordPress's nonce verification for cookie-authenticated sessions. This results in a CSRF vulnerability (CWE-352) where an attacker can coerce an authenticated administrator into executing unintended actions by clicking a malicious link. The vulnerability can be exploited to perform privileged operations such as creating a new administrator account without authentication.
Potential Impact
An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform unauthorized actions within the WordPress site by leveraging the privileges of an authenticated administrator. This includes the ability to create new administrator accounts, potentially leading to full site compromise or persistent unauthorized access.
Mitigation Recommendations
A fix is available in Salon Booking System plugin version 10.31.9. Users should upgrade to version 10.31.9 or later to remediate this vulnerability. Until then, administrators should avoid clicking untrusted links while logged in. Patch status is confirmed by the versioning information indicating the vulnerability affects versions before 10.31.9.
