CVE-2026-110594: Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity in MicroPyramid BottleCRM
Description
BottleCRM 0.43 through 1.14.5 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated organization administrators to block web workers via unbounded routing rule regex patterns. Attackers can create a routing rule with a catastrophically backtracking pattern evaluated by _match_condition() during case saves, exhausting workers shared across all tenants.

Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-110594 identifies a ReDoS vulnerability in MicroPyramid's BottleCRM affecting versions 0.43 through 1.14.5. The flaw arises from inefficient regular expression complexity in routing rules, which are evaluated by the _match_condition() function during case saves. Authenticated organization administrators can craft regex patterns that cause catastrophic backtracking, exhausting shared web workers and causing denial of service across tenants.
Potential Impact
An attacker with authenticated organization administrator privileges can cause denial of service by exhausting web workers through crafted regex routing rules. This impacts availability of the BottleCRM service for all tenants sharing those workers.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict the ability to create or modify routing rules to trusted administrators and monitor for unusual routing rule patterns.
