Users should monitor the vendor's advisory for updates. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the Transcripts page to trusted administrators only and consider disabling the plugin or the vulnerable functionality if possible. Applying web application firewall (WAF) rules to block malicious payloads targeting the 'feedback' parameter may provide temporary mitigation.

Description

MxChat – AI Chatbot & Content Generation for WordPress plugin versions up to 3.2.25 are vulnerable to a stored DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw via the 'feedback' parameter. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when an administrator views the Transcripts page. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'feedback' parameter.
