Vendor/Project: sgl-project
Product: sglang

Description

CVE-2026-112267 is a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in sglang versions up to 0.5.22. It affects the prefill/decode disaggregation mode, allowing unauthenticated attackers to make outbound requests by manipulating bootstrap_host and bootstrap_port fields. Exploitation can probe internal hosts and ports and block the shared scheduler loop, causing delays in inference requests. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS 4.0 score of 6.9.

Technical Analysis

SGLang versions up to 0.5.22 contain an SSRF vulnerability in the prefill/decode disaggregation mode. Attackers can send crafted requests to the Decode worker's /generate endpoint, using client-supplied bootstrap_host and bootstrap_port fields to trigger outbound requests. This can be used to probe internal network resources and block the scheduler loop, delaying other inference operations. The vulnerability requires no authentication and has a medium impact on availability and integrity.

Potential Impact

An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this SSRF vulnerability to make arbitrary outbound requests from the vulnerable server, potentially accessing internal network resources. Additionally, the attacker can block the shared scheduler loop, causing delays in processing legitimate inference requests, impacting service availability and performance.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the /generate endpoint and validate or sanitize client-supplied bootstrap_host and bootstrap_port fields to prevent SSRF exploitation.
