VulnerabilityCVE-2026-11321cvecve-2026-11321
Published: 07/10/2026 (07/10/2026, 18:53:56 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: pluginsGLPI
Product: datainjection

Description

The DataInjection plugin for GLPI 2.15.6 (GLPI 11 builds) concatenates user-supplied CSV field values directly into SQL queries during CSV import, without parameterization or escaping, resulting in authenticated SQL injection. An authenticated user with access to the Data injection feature can embed SQL expressions such as SLEEP() in a mapped field (for example Serial Number) to manipulate the generated query and extract database information via time-based blind injection.

Technical Analysis

The DataInjection plugin for GLPI 2.15.6 (GLPI 11 builds) suffers from an SQL injection vulnerability due to improper neutralization of special elements in SQL commands. Specifically, user-supplied CSV field values are concatenated directly into SQL queries without parameterization or escaping during CSV import. An authenticated user with access to the Data injection feature can embed SQL expressions in mapped fields (e.g., Serial Number) to manipulate the query and perform time-based blind SQL injection, potentially extracting sensitive database information.

Potential Impact

An authenticated user with access to the Data injection feature can exploit this vulnerability to perform SQL injection attacks. This can lead to unauthorized extraction of sensitive database information via time-based blind injection techniques. The vulnerability impacts the confidentiality and integrity of the database managed by the affected GLPI plugin.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the Data injection feature to trusted users only and avoid importing untrusted CSV data. Monitor vendor channels for updates regarding an official patch or mitigation.
