Description

CVE-2026-114355 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware versions 0.3.9.7 through 0.6.6.9. It allows a local unprivileged process to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges by writing a crafted line to the Android log, which is then read and executed by a root-privileged helper process.

Technical Analysis

This vulnerability involves improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command (CWE-78) within the 'hardware_monitor' helper component of DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware. The helper runs with root privileges and reads lines from the Android log (logcat). An attacker with local unprivileged access can inject malicious commands by writing crafted input to the log, which the helper then executes via shell evaluation, leading to arbitrary command execution as root.

Potential Impact

An attacker with local unprivileged access can escalate privileges to root by exploiting this vulnerability, potentially allowing full control over the affected device. This could lead to unauthorized system modifications, data compromise, or disruption of device operations.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. No official fix or patch links are provided in the available data. Until a patch is available, restrict local access to trusted users and monitor for suspicious local activity.
