Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: uselotus
Product: lotus

Description

Lotus versions up to 0.10.2 have an SQL injection vulnerability that allows authenticated organization users to execute arbitrary SQL commands by appending stacked statements to custom metric queries. This occurs because the application accepts semicolon-separated SQL statements via POST /app/metrics/ and bypasses validation that only checks the first statement. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized reading or modification of data across all tenants.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-115330 describes an SQL injection vulnerability in the Lotus application (uselotus project) affecting versions up to and including 0.10.2. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by submitting semicolon-separated SQL statements through the POST /app/metrics/ endpoint. The application attempts to validate only the first SQL statement, allowing attackers to append additional malicious SQL commands (stacked queries). This enables attackers to read or modify data across all tenants, compromising data confidentiality and integrity.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands beyond intended queries, potentially leading to unauthorized data disclosure and modification across multiple tenants. This compromises the confidentiality and integrity of the affected system's data.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to authenticated users carefully and monitor for suspicious activity related to the POST /app/metrics/ endpoint.
