Vendor/Project: uselotus
Product: lotus

Description

Lotus through 0.10.2 contains an sql injection vulnerability that allows authenticated organization users to inject SQL by registering crafted subscription_filter_keys that bypass keyword-only validation. Attackers can create subscriptions using the malicious key, which is rendered as an unquoted group-by identifier, to inject SQL into usage aggregation queries against the shared multi-tenant database.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-115332 describes an SQL injection vulnerability in Lotus through version 0.10.2. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by registering malicious subscription_filter_keys that bypass keyword-only validation. These keys are rendered as unquoted group-by identifiers in SQL queries, allowing injection of arbitrary SQL commands into usage aggregation queries against the shared multi-tenant database.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows authenticated organization users to execute arbitrary SQL commands within the context of usage aggregation queries. This can lead to unauthorized data access or manipulation in the shared multi-tenant database, potentially compromising data confidentiality and integrity.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict subscription_filter_key inputs and monitor for suspicious activity related to subscription creation.
