AI-suggested
A fix is available in OpenRemote core version 1.31.0 and later. Users should upgrade to version 1.31.0 or newer to remediate this authorization bypass vulnerability. No vendor advisory content is provided, so patch status is inferred from the version information. Patch status is confirmed by the version boundary given.
Description
OpenRemote core versions before 1.31.0 have an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users to access gateway tunnel information from other realms. This can expose internal target hosts, ports, and routing data by exploiting the getGatewayActiveTunnelInfos endpoint with manipulated parameters.
Impact
The vulnerability allows authenticated users to read gateway tunnel information from realms other than their own, potentially exposing internal network infrastructure details. This could aid attackers in reconnaissance or further attacks but does not directly allow privilege escalation or remote code execution. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 5.3, indicating a medium severity impact.
