AI-suggested

Upgrade OpenRemote core to version 1.32.2 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated by the vendor advisory. Applying the official patch fully addresses the issue.

Description

OpenRemote core versions before 1.32.2 have a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Authenticated users with write:admin permissions can upload HTML or SVG files containing malicious JavaScript via the Manager configuration file upload endpoint. These files can then be accessed through an unauthenticated image retrieval endpoint that serves them with text/html or image/svg+xml content types, leading to script execution in the context of the application origin.
